Teacher Open House at the Newseum!
Free Admission for Educators
Saturday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Newseum is pleased to host its fourth annual Teacher Open House on Saturday, Oct. 5. As registered attendees, teachers will be able to sample our on-site education programs as well as resources available through our Digital Classroom. Throughout the day, educators will experience the Newseum’s seven floors of interactive galleries, chat with museum educators and enjoy refreshments overlooking a fabulous view of Pennsylvania Avenue and the U.S. Capitol dome.
In addition, teachers who RSVP will be entered into a drawing for dinner for two at The Source, Wolfgang Puck’s famous restaurant adjacent to the Newseum.Educators interested in attending should RSVP online. We hope to see you there! Verification of hours will be provided.
*Valid teacher ID required to receive free admission and to participate in programs. Must be a current teacher, principal, counselor, librarian, school district level staff or college professor. Valid forms of ID include: school identification, pay stub, letter from the principal on school letterhead, insurance card, union card, or letter of intent to home school issued by a government agency or school district.
